Energy Retailing
To meet the needs of customers, including companies and local governments, NTT Anode Energy provides various green solutions in partnership with ENNET, a leader among the new power companies.

These businesses provide power derived from renewable energy sources generated by NTT Anode Energy to private companies and local governments. Among these, we offer private companies an arrangement called corporate PPA. This allows us to install dedicated generators on the customer's premises or in remote locations. The customer pays a fee based on the amount of electricity consumed without any maintenance costs. In March 2021, we started providing this arrangement to Seven & i Holdings with the aim of further expansion.
On a municipal level, we are partnering with local governments and companies to establish and operate community-based retail power companies for new regional electric power. In addition, NTT Anode Energy has been providing "docomo Denki®" to general households since March 2022, serving as an electricity retailer, with NTT DOCOMO Inc. as the intermediary. docomo Denki® is provided in in the "docomo Denki® Basic" standard electricity plan and the "docomo Denki® Green" plan, which leverages renewable energy-derived electricity with virtually zero CO2 emissions. This proactive use of renewable energy contributes to carbon neutrality for society as a whole.
Corporate PPA
We procure green power through corporate PPAs and provide a long-term, stable supply without initial investment and maintenance costs.
In June 2021, as part of a “co-creation” project between the Seven & i Group and NTT Group, we became the first company in Japan to provide services through an off-site PPA. We have established a system to provide a stable supply renewable energy to Seven-Eleven and Ito-Yokado stores from dedicated solar power plants in remote locations.

Partnering in regional PPS operations
NTT Anode Energy partners with local governments and companies participating in regional electric power operations. The new regional electric power is procured from power plants that meet the region's characteristics and is supplied to public facilities and local companies, helping to promote locally produced energy for local consumption.
Services for the NTT Group
In October 2018 , the NTT Group joined the "EV100" global initiative. With the shift to EVs (electric vehicles) for company-owned standard cars underway, NTT Anode Energy installed chargers at NTT building parking lots for charging company-owned EVs. The chargers' remote monitoring and control functions achieve efficient charging during nighttime (peak shifting) and reduce maintenance costs. In the near future, we plan to introduce a smart charging and discharging service that not only charges the EVs but also discharges EV power according to the power requirements of the NTT buildings (peak cutting).
